Bill's story "Ascension Salad" won Second Prize in the scifidimensions 2005 Short Fiction Contest. Among other awards, the story will also be published in their August 2005 issue. Congratulations, Bill! -- 7/1/2005 After three years of dedicated submissions, Melanie finally sold her "merman meets vampiress" horror story "Tides" to Quantum Muse for their July issue. Which just goes to show you should never give up on submissions. -- 6/28/2005 BEST PROTECTION coming out as fourth Double Dog from Yard Dog Press Melanie's novella "Best Protection" will form one half of the fourth entry in the new line of Double Dogs from Yard Dog Press. Harkening back to the Ace Doubles of the sixties, Double Dogs will feature two novellas in a single book, with each novella having its own cover when you flip the book. Jeff's novella "This Instance of Me" was in the first Double Dog, partnered with Mark Tiedemann's "Of Stars and Shadows." -- 4/30/2005 International House of Bubbas has a FutureClassics presence Jeff, Melanie, Robert and Bill all have stories in the upcoming INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF BUBBAS anthology from Yard Dog Press.
