 Events, Happenings and Other Cool Stuff

In addition to panels, Worldcon also hosts a number of events such as the Hugo Awards, the Masquerade, filking, autographings, readings, the opening and closing ceremonies, and special events such as the Prix Aurora ceremony.

And there are parties. Did we mention parties?

Events

The Opening Ceremonies will take place on Thursday evening at 8:00 PM in the Royal York Concert Hall.

The Hugo Awards ceremony will take place on Saturday evening at 8:00 PM in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

The Prix Aurora ceremony will take place on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 PM in the Royal York Concert Hall.

The Regency Ball will take place on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 PM in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

The Sidewise Awards will take place on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 PM in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Room 206C.

The Torcon Masquerade will take place on Sunday evening at 8:00 PM in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

The Closing Ceremonies will take place on Monday afternoon at 3:00 PM in the Royal York Concert Hall.
